• Intervention should be performed for patients with:
      • Symptomatic severe aortic stenosis
      • Asymptomatic severe aortic stenosis with any of:
        • Systolic LV dysfunction (LVEF <50%) not due to another cause
        • Abnormal exercise testing
        • Markedly elevated BNP
        • Severe pulmonary hypertension without other explanation
      • Intervention should not be performed in patients:
        • With severe comorbidities (e.g. associated with survival <1 year)
        • When the intervention is unlikely to improve quality of life or survival
