Absolute
  • History of intracranial hemorrhage, intracranial neoplasm, arteriovenous malformation, or aneurysm 1
  • Recent (<2 months) intracranial surgery or trauma 1
  • Active or recent internal bleeding 1

  • Known bleeding diathesis 1
  • Non-haemorrhagic stroke within the prior 2 months1
  • Surgery within the previous 10 days 1
  • Thrombocytopaenia (platelets <100x109/l 1
  • Uncontrolled severe hypertension (systolic BP >200mmHg or diastolic >110mmHg) 1
